Early Developments is published four times a year by the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is funded partly by the university and partly by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement, U. S. Department of Education. It focuses on policies from the national, the state, and the local levels affecting the lives of young children and their families.
