Genetic Issues in Mental Retardation

Genetic Issues in Mental Retardation is published by The Arc of the United States: A National Organization on Mental Retardation. It is sponsored by the Department of Energy's ESLI program. This newsletter provides information about genetic issues in mental retardation. Sample topics include gene therapy and mental retardation; genetic discrimination; and gene testing, screening and counseling. Legislation and ethical concerns relating to genetic issues are discussed.
