News Briefs
News Briefs is a bilingual publication of Parent to Parent of Miami, Inc., a community parent resource center for children and adults with special needs. The organization is tax exempt and primarily funded by U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs. It offers training, monthly support group meetings, peer counseling, and the newsletter. The organization advocates on behalf of families in Miami-Dade and Monroe County, and throughout Florida through different councils. Sample articles include IDEA regulations, news, support groups and workshops.
